Trainer
Kites
At LEK you start your training with small foil kites. Unlike other trainer kites the BEST Trainer Kite has a little more size to it, giving a pull that is much more similar to the larger inflatable kites that you will be using once you are ready to go out on the water.
Inflatable
Kites
For the next stage in your training you use inflatable kites from BEST. The BEST Grunt kites are easy to set up, super stable and predictable, water-relaunch effortlessly, and are durable enough to take whatever crashes you can dish out. With bullet proof construction, the Grunt holds up in the toughest conditions.
Boards
Our students find water-starting a snap using the BEST 140 board. Built with more volume and width, this board gets up fast and stays up. Smooth, stable and strong yet small enough to still be manageable in the water.
Harnesses
We use a variety of excellent harnesses and impact vests, primarily the BEST waist harness, very comfortable and nice to wear!
Helmets
Gath Helmets are
the smartest choice in head protection. The close fit ensures
the helmet won't slide off the back of your head.
