Breakfast and can be enjoyed in your own kitchen in your apartment.  Some ideas are fresh tropical fruits, delicious locally made yogurt, and of course Dominican coffee!  You will also easily source eggs, bacon, bread and potatoes if a cooked breakfast is your style.

Going out options include a great number of restaurants on the beach, or two of Laurel's personal favorites: El Rincon in the Plaza Media Luna directly in front of Millennium Resort on the road and Cabarete Coffee Company, just down the street.

Lunch is normally something quick and easy.  At Millennium we have Aqua Restaurant which serves delicious salads and sandwiches.  Or try Mojito Bar, 6 minutes walk down the beach where $4 buys a fresh juice and a sandwich.  There is always the $3 Dominican plate from across the street, or you can grab a granola bar from LEK to keep you fueled up and kiting the afternoon away!

Evening Dining Experiences

The options for dinner in Cabarete are really quite impressive. From the best chicken and yucca you will ever taste from a shack on the side of the road to gourmet European cuisine, there really is something for every palette. Tropicoco just next to LEK on the road has excellent Saturday night BBQ, all you can eat and fantastic LIVE MUSIC!

Dominican Village dining: off the beaten tourist track in the local Dominican village you will find a lovely bunch of typical style restaurants serving up fresh seafood, chicken, and the usual beans and rice. Great prices, friendly service, and an insiders look into the local lifestyle that you won't find on the beach in Cabarete.

Blue Moon: eating at the Blue Moon is more than just dinner, it is a celebration! A 20 minute car ride up the mountainside leads you to an oasis of calm and tranquility. Palm tree lined mountains provide a spectacular backdrop to an unforgettable sunset. Lounge in the bar or swim in the ying/yang shaped pool before dinner. Seated on cushions in a wide circle you eat off fresh banana leaves, the most amazing Indian food you will taste here in the Dominican.
